A long-term 3D modeling project focused on creating low-poly versions of every Pokémon. When I joined 3Demon, the full 1st and 2nd generation sets were already completed, and I continued the series with the entire 3rd generation.
I brought the project to Thangs and created a new brand around it – Polymon, complete with a profile and a membership strategy. I also manage an Instagram account dedicated to showcasing the models and engaging with the community.
All models are optimized for 3D printing, with a strong focus on making them accessible to most users. Many are designed to be supportless and divided into separate color parts, without requiring a multi-material printer. I also enjoy experimenting with slicer settings and modifiers to create unique visual effects directly during the printing process.
In addition to character models, I particularly enjoy designing practical Pokémon-themed items, such as a Horsea watering can and a Seedot nutcracker, where I can combine playful design with functional product development.
My work:
Designing supportless and color-separated models for easy printing
Continuation of the low-poly Pokémon series with full 3rd generation models and many more
Brand creation and membership strategy for Polymon on Thangs
Managing and growing an Instagram profile
Concepting and modeling practical Pokémon-inspired items
Optimization and print-ready modeling in Blender
This project combines 3D modeling, branding, and product design.
